Getting jettisoned from hookup apps for sharing inappropriate content is the norm — but one Los Angeles Instagram model alleges that she’s been banned from Tinder because her good looks made potential matches think she was a fake.
Holly Valentine says her foray into the online dating world began when she signed up for Tinder so she could meet men while traveling for work, Jam Press reports.
“I bought the most expensive package that they offer that lets you set your location to anywhere,” says the purportedly “shy” 26-year-old model, who has 1.2 million followers on Instagram.
“It’s like, $86 for an app is expensive! I used clean pictures, did everything I was supposed to, swiped right on a couple people, I got some matches and then started binge-watching ‘Game of Thrones.’ ”
However, before she could become someone’s Valentine, she claims she was booted from the app — and bombarded with messages declaring she was too beautiful to be real.
The blond bombshell only glimpsed a few before getting banned, however, and she says the senders asked “why would a girl like you be on tinder?” and “you’re probably not real.”
“Models can be shy, too,” was Valentine’s alleged response to her “catfishing” accusers.
