Metta World Peace The Next Knick's Coach?

Metta World Peace is ready for a sideline suit and tie! Peace throws his hat in the ring via Twitter below.  

The retired former All-Star tweeted on Saturday that he would “love” to coach the New York Knicks, who just fired head coach Jeff Hornacek this week.

Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle thinks his former player may have a future in coaching, saying  Peace has “a chance to be a good coach” because “he’s passionate and knowledgeable about the game,”

The 38-year-old World Peace, who is now a player development coach for the South Bay Lakers. (NBA G League)  

The artist formerly known as Ron Artest now has about a year of coaching experience. Seems like enough to coach the Nicks. How bad can it get?!   - Don Stuck
