Planes Cargo Hatch Malfunctions Dumping $368M In Gold Bars On Runway

You think we make rain in the United States? When the Siberians make it rain, they really make it rain! 

The cargo hatch of a Nimbus Airlines malfunctioned on takeoff, dumping it's $368M cargo all over the runway and surrounding fields. The planes payload included 9 tons of diamonds, silver, platinum and gold. 

The Tass news agency reports that 172 gold bars, weighing 3.4 tons, fell out of the plane and littered the runway and surrounding area. Photos and recovery video below.
