Angus Young's Favorite Cartoon Becomes Huge AC/DC Hit

Written by Angus and Malcolm Young with Bon Scott in 1975, the song has its roots in a cartoon Angus watched as a child.  In the 60's cartoon Beany and Cecile, the bad guy, Dishonest John, would carry out his dirty deeds. His business card read - "Dirty Deeds Don Dirt Cheap, Special Rates For Sundays and Holidays."

I'm so glad Dishonest John made such an impression on young Angus!
