Ozzy Celebrates Randy Rhoads In New 'Flying High Again' Music Video

Ozzy Osbourne is celebrating the 40th anniversary of his second studio album, Diary of a Madman, this month with an expanded edition of the album and previously unreleased live versions of its biggest hits.

First released November 7, 1981, Diary of a Madman was the second and final album Ozzy made with guitar wizard Randy Rhoads before Randy's tragic death the following year in a plane crash.

The anniversary of the album comes about a week after Randys was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

On Friday, the day the 40th anniversary edition of Diary of a Madman was released, Ozzy shared a new animated music video for the classic song "Flying High Again," which you can enjoy via the player above!

The new video is a particular tribute to Randy and a celebration of Ozzy's friendship with him. Ozzy has often credited Randy with being the savior of his musical career.

"I knew him for a very short amount of time," Ozzy told Rolling Stone earlier this year of Rhoads." But what he gave me in that short amount of time was immeasurable f---ing greatness."

Beyond the new music video, Ozzy has also unveiled previously unreleased live versions of "Over the Mountain," "Flying High Again" and "Believer."
