According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, law enforcement officials in Indianapolis are working a "mass casualty situation,"
The incident happened at a FedEx facility located at 8951 Mirabel Road in Indianapolis, according to Cook.
Police have said multiple people had been taken to hospitals throughout the area.
Police are asking anyone who has family members who work at the FedEx IND hub that cannot be reached to meet at the Holiday Inn at 8555 Stansted Drive.
